Anjali Tsui is an engagement editor and senior reporter for The Examination.
Anjali previously edited "Missing Them,” THE CITY’s crowdsourced COVID-19 memorial and accountability journalism project. She has worked at ProPublica, Frontline PBS and CNN International. Her work has been honored with the Peabody Award, the DuPont Award, and the Knight Award for Public Service from the Online Journalism Awards.
She was a 2021-2022 Magic Grant fellow at the Brown Institute for Media Innovation. She has served as an adjunct journalism professor at Columbia Journalism School and the Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism at CUNY.
Anjali is originally from Hong Kong and speaks Cantonese and Mandarin.
